These brave women made a difference and stood firm in their faith and, for equality.

The World of Humanity has Two Wings - One is Women and the Other Men. Not until Both Wings are Equally Developed can the Bird Fly. Should one Wing Remain Weak, Flight is Impossible.” -Baha’u’llah

Mona was an Iranian Baha’i who, in 1983 together with 9 other Baha’i women, was sentenced to death and hanged in Shiraz, Iran because of their Faith - the Baha’i Faith.

She along with the other women are truly inspiring in their steadfast belief and to be commended as strong women. They believed in equality and were devoted to the advancement of women and education of children.
